Best thing about Purdue?

The people! I love how many people there are, but also how diverse and individual everyone is.

What do you do for fun?

I founded the Stand-Up Comedy Community of Purdue; I perform improv comedy with Ad Liberation; and I’m on the hospitality team at Campus House.

Why Purdue?

I saw the view from Grant Street Garage and fell in love with campus.

Most embarrassing moment?

I slipped and fell carrying a big plate of food in Earhart Dining Court during BGR.

How’d you get into comedy?

I’ve loved to laugh and perform since elementary school. So I started figuring out how to make other people laugh!

Why start a stand-up community?

There were a few students doing stand-up around campus, and no one knew each other. I like connecting people, so I found a niche for the community.

Favorite joke?

What do you call a waffle on a beach? A Sandy-Eggo.

Cool projects?

I’m planning to host more episodes of my late night show Staying Late with Kristen Day.
